A Post From The Heart

My first blog post...WOW!!!! I am so humbled and excited that God chose me to be His vessel to spread His Word to anyone & everyone. About 3 1/2 months ago I was seeking God on what my purpose was and what He wanted me to do here on this earth. I was in prayer on a Thursday evening and the Holy Spirit dropped blogging into my heart. In that moment I was like, "who me?" LOL. I was not into blogging at all, I honestly thought is was a waste of time. However, the Holy Spirit kept blogging on my heart. So I jotted it down in my phone so I could remember, I was doing a Habakkuk 2:2. In that moment I remember telling God, "okay God, if this is what you want me to do I will do it!" About a month later in prayer He gave me the name of the Blog, Simply A Student. I was so excited, in the coming month God opened up every door and here I am! I know He has more in store for me and my answer to Him is YES!

To every reader, follower, subscriber.....THANK YOU. I pray that my blog inspires you to be the person God called you to be. The world is full of confusion, heartache, pain, greed, lust, etc. HOWEVER, in God there is freedom, salvation (wholeness), joy, love, wealth, protection, and more. Most of all you will find out WHO YOU ARE in Him. Becoming a Christian is a choice. I promise it will be the BEST choice you will ever make. 

"Because if you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord [recognizing His power, authority, and majesty as God], and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart a person believes [in Christ as Savior] resulting in his justification [that is, being made righteous-being freed of guilt of sin and made acceptable to God]; and with the mouth he acknowledge and confesses {his faith openly], resulting in and confirming [his] salvation." -Romans 10:9-10 Amplified (AMP)

*I encourage all readers to read the scriptures in the King James Version (KJV) first and then another version. My favorite is the Amplified (AMP).
